i recently bought a defender 90 td5 and there has never been a radio installed. I'm wondering if there will be all the necessary wiring in place from factory to install one or not?

Yep it's all there. Or should be. Also it's probably got speakers in the back. Although that's less certain.

Not a big issue to install a head unit and loudspeakers even if there is no wiring existing. :)

Sent from my iPad Air in Madeira.

No it's not ex military just never had one fitted from factory. Just hoping it it is all there as I don't fancy starting from scratch haha I shall have a look tomorrow

A basic radio fit; radio, 2 speakers, aerial and wiring for the power and speakers is a relatively easy job, depending on your level of expertise. Generally, everything you need in the way of bracketry and sockets should be in the box. Just be sure to follow the instructions enclosed with the radio. If all else fails you could visit you local indie garage or even Halfords to see if they'll do the job for you (and the contents of your wallet).
