Hi Folks,
Hoping someone might have an idea on an issue I'm having with my hazards. I've recently bought a '75 III Series 109 and amongst other things, I've discovered the left side front and rear hazards don't work. All work fine as indicators but not when the hazard switch is pulled. What I also noticed was that the dash tell-tale light for the left didn't work in that mode either. I messed around with the tell tale and managed to get it to work albeit briefly but still no joy with the externals. I think the hazards were added when it was restored so I'm not sure if they are as per any wiring diagrams (can anyone also suggest where I can find the diagrams for the type?).
I'm very new to this "hobby" so any help would be really appreciated.
Thanks,
Bill

At 1975 I would think they are a retro fit. Have you checked/cleaned all the earths including the hazard unit ?

I haven't been through all the earths as yet. I did replace the relay and the switch unit. Not knowing much about it I wasn't sure if Haynes produced the manual or if there are wiring diagrams elsewhere - at the moment I'm trying to sift through a rats nest behind the instrument panel :-(

Haynes manual has rudimentary wiring diagram. Try to get hold of a workshop manual. As Divie says looks retro fit. I had a '75 s3 and do not recall a hazard switch. It didn't have the central switch console in the dashboard that my '83 model. Do you really need it?
