Allright so i had no abs tc or hdc so i changed my slabs unit and got everything back then now an hour later no hdc but abs and tc work great any ideas? It does the 3 dings when i try and use it. I have code 1590 as usual since ive owned the car could that be it? Also no abs or tc light on startup and bulbs are good :/ please help im sick of all this slabs bs. Its a 2001 disco sd thanks you !

U have to enter with the proper disgnostic equipment in the BCU and program it. Your new SLABS ECU is not configured with the old BCU.

Ok thanks that sucks lol i didnt have the red dot tho do i still have to reprogram?

Also am i going to lose abs and tc again? If not ill deal without hdc till i can find a friend with a good diagnostic computer i dont have the cash to goto the dealer

If u have ABS and TC then u just have to activate HDC try to find some help here(dont go to dealer for that)... www.discovery2.co.uk/ Nanocom Locator, get help from your Land Rover Buddies!!! ...or do i see well you're not in UK

Yea i know only in low range and yea unfortunatly im in the us and nobody likes to help anyone for free or even a decent price :/ thanks for the help i really appreciate it

if u want to keep your Disco u better buy a hawkeye and DIY Hawkeye Diagnostic Tool for Land Rovers - D.A.P.....it's like 2 trips to a dealer.... so told me a friend from Boston... or u can calculate and take it from UK if its cheaper Hawk Eye BA5070 Island 4x4 - Specialists in Land Rover and Range Rover Parts and accessories for all models. UK and worldwide mail order.

The hawkeye will reprogram? What about the abs amigo will that do anything for me and also how do i get rid of 1590 what causes that ?
