Can it maybe the selector and inhibitor switch be the problem?
The original fault... you say you had fault codes on 8 of 9. Did you clear the codes then read them again? Did you then take it for a drive (or try to) then read the codes again?

Did you do the resistance test before changing stuff like solenoids?

The original problem has too many fault codes listed. You normally only get that when there is a major common fault like the barrel connectors coming apart.
