Think i may have mentioned that SVO leaves a waxy deposit that gums things up, if you get too greedy and use is undiluted or not thinned enough. Just pour some on some metal and leave it a few days then try and wipe the metal clean you will see what i mean. Then think what it can do to the fine fuel sender winding.
If you drop the tank again - suggest that you remove the in tank pump - you can simply pull it off the end of the flexble and replace with a section of straight nylon or a coarse mesh filter (use some large washers on top to keep it weighed down.) Note the colour of the wires feeding it as you'll need to break into the loom to divert them to a new external pump. I fitted a constant pressure gear pump, set it to 5psi and no probs since. It does need a T into the return line so the pump doesnt stall as it simply diverts some fuel back to tank when pressure met.
When my original pump failed (on 100% wvo) it wouldnt let anything through at all.
Admittedly if you are diluting your oil to the same viscosity as ordinary diesel, the original pump should cope (unless its petrol youre using which might damage the seals).

I run mine on 100% WVO, filtered to 1 micron the VP37 is very tolerant of Veg. it's fitted to loads of cars some considered some of the best to run on oil. There are many cars running VP37 that have covered 100.000 plus miles on Veggie forums
My intank pump doesn't work either. The RR do have quite small bore fuel pipe which doesn't help, getting as close to Dino viscosity is not necessary as long as it's thin enough to go through filter you should not have a problem, it may be a bit odd on a cold start for a couple of mins, but once a bit of heat is in the injectors and pump that is the temperature that will be injected and it does not take a lot of heat to thin veggie
Will soon add 5% unleaded to thin things out , but that all that needed here in the south. I would never go above 10% which has been proven to halve the viscosity. The only ones I know using 20% come from much colder climate than the UK. It's very important with WVO to make sure there is no water in it though
I run a water heated fuel filter so whites in cold WVO don't block the filter. But if you run SVO it doesn't have these so no heating of filter is necessary.
I will point out as Veg has a lower cetane value so the engine runs slightly retarded, usual practice is to advance pump as the VP adjusts itself back it's not appropriate to P38. I have found it beneficial to use a Cetane booster, such as Biotane or Veggieboost.
I save so much running on oil, I would still be quids in if I had to change the pump each year using about 150-200 ltrs per month, it only work out about 5p a ltr and thats because I have to buy Veggie Sock filters once a year and some Cetane booster, my oil is free

Wammer is 100% correct Veggie can cause this wax but personally I have only found this to happen on galvanised metal, zinc, I have never seen it on steel, stainless, Aluminium or Brass, I had to swap out the steel tank on my Astra as the factory one have a zintec coating, the cheap pattern replacement doesn't so never had the problem back and I only swap filters once a year
You will often find that when you start to use Veggie you fuel filter blocks quickly as the veggie actually cleans out all the crap in the tank and lines

The inside of your injection pump will get coated and glazed eventually. Specially the internal high pressure pump.
