No issues whatsoever last night but this morning went to start the car (central locking works ok) and found no dash lights and the stop start doesn’t function. Power to radio and to lights, car seats etc. Popped some jump leads on (thinking the battery charge was low) and nothing. I’m thinking a) either my battery drained almost to zero overnight b) electric has a fault or c) immobiliser is engaged/has a fault.

Has anyone had anything similar?

hi could you tell me ifyou sorted your problem ,as my car has the exact same issue thanks

I have the same problem, frustrating as hell
Hi mate mine sat there for two weeks ,I looked around the engine bay and found rat droppings in lots of places ,so possibly chewed wiring loom the car has been at the insurance body shop for three weeks ,even though an assessor, said it needed to go to an auto electrician .i think mine is going to be either a chewed wiring loom ,or the Ecu has gone down ,I will let you know the outcome ,but I don’t think these clowns know what there looking for ,let me know if you find out what’s up with yours thanks

My trouble is exactly the same as the original post , the fobs open the doors and everything works yet out the fob in and press the start button and it's no lights on dash or starting ,the starter is good and it's a new battery ,I'm thinking its has to be the key receiver ,im in spain so landy garages are few

Just got it towed to the dealers here they knew the problem straight away it's the receiver in the dash ,they have not given me the price yet but they estimate around €400 as I may also need a new steering lock ,its two items that you cant realy do at home as it needs the computer input ,I can remember when land rovers were easy to fix
