my mates just bought a m plate 2.5 dt p38
he went to go for a run this morning and the brakes have vanished. he cannot hear the booster pump running,and seeing as im not there to listen for clues joys of diagnostics by phone as anybody got any ideas?

does the pump run AT ALL, like even for 2-3 seconds??

guess he has checked the obvious like under bonnet and set fuses??

Try shorting the relay terminals for the brake pump and see if the motor runs, Wills might be able to help as I don't have manual to hand....

relays/fuses have been checked pump does,nt appear to be running at all
