Got a bit of a problem with my lad's TD5 110 (not sure what year!), we have rear lights but no brake lights including the high level. It did pop the fuse which was changed, he found a test online to check one of the connections under the bonnet which gave continuity, checking the wires at the back gives continuity as well. He is currently working long hours as a delivery driver, he doesn't live with me and I don't have the keys!
Is there anything I can check once I get the keys off him? I'm sure I read somewhere about adjusting the switch but I;m not sure where I read it!

If you do get a new switch, get an expensive one. I've just got through a cheap reverse light switch and centre difflock switch in a short space of time, so I expect the same is true of brake light switches.

linking C0075-1 AND C0029-1 will confirm switch is faulty that's

if light work of course

Thanks for the tips, once I can get the keys I'll try jumping the switch and take it from there. The brake lights do work - I've seen them! Not the first time he has had problems, I'm pretty certain the switch is dying or has now died.

The reverse light packed in ages ago as did the handbrake light! We replaced the difflock switch last year, not sure what brand (it certainly wasn't in a blue packet), we got it from Craddock's - they are only 30 minutes or so drive from us.
