I'm sure there's a pollen filter or summnik on the passenger side dash area. There's a seal that goes on it hene the water coming in. i think you can get to it from under the bonnet somewhere.

Be nice he owns a Fcukd Or Repaired Daily sorry Ford:doh:

The problem with the blowers could be the heater resistor its normaly behind the gloovebox sat at base of the heater motor these burn out cos the pollen filter gets clogged with ****e common problem with ford cheap fix if not burned out the wires:D

Wet floor could be your heater matrix is leaking or the drain plug near where the pollen filter fits or the opposite side is blocked

hope this helps matey

Hi mate the pollen filter cover is prob the cause of the water well know fault ford i think did a mod on them it involves a mastic seal now i think so first have a look there hope this help with leak:)

The passenger side of the scuttle panel is removed when you have a new screen, pollen filter or wiper mech fitted.

It should be stuck back down against the screen using Tremshield Tape/Mastic otherwise water runs down the screen, through the filter and into the footwells.

It's a well known issue (particularly in the windscreen trade (my old game)), but garages very rarely sort it properly when fitting a new filter.

The scuttle should have an upper and a lower part to it, make sure that the lower part slides under the filter as you fit the panel.

It will also be woth getting a replacement set of white fitting clips for it, as they invariably break when the scuttle is removed and never get replaced.
