thinking of putting it either in my 90 or 101. can i bolt a turbo onto it???
Dunno what one of them is.
Cant simply 'bolt one on' as that n/a engine is not designed for a turbo hence being an n/a.
I reckon you may well blow it up quickly.
Why dont you buy my range rover classic with the 2.8tdi isuzu engine in and drop that in it.
That would be much better, sell it to you for 100quid if you take the lot away.
It will have no axles. but its a good runner and you can hear it run!:D
 
its a nissan 3.5 inline 4 engine they did a turbo version and just though i may be able to bolt it onto a 3.5 na.

wanted to know if its any good, its a gear driven cam so no cam belts good tourgue but dont know bhp.

The Turbo Engine is highly likely to have piston cooling jets mounted in the block inside. If you fit a turbo you may well destroy the pistons and bores quite quickly.

Had an F35T motor in my old 110CSW, it was a Samurai conversion done in the early '90's. It went very well but was a bit of a pain with parts (a couple of long and unnecesarily long stories) because it's a bit of a blend of defender/tdi/nissan/gaffer tape/cable ties... also insurance was a pain to sort out. I don't know what your history is with mix n match motors, but from my own experience I'd always now look to replace like for like or use a well documented and proven same make coversion. Not actually an answer to your question but worth a thought I'd reckon. John.
