I have just spent the past half hour trying and failing to close Dave's bonnet!!!!! Doesn't look like I am going anywhere :censored::censored::censored:
I hate being small sometimes........but I am sure it has looked very amusing with me sat bouncing up and down on the bloody thing! Oh and the idiots I bought him off haven't even wired up my reverse light!
Sorry off topic I know :(

Reverse light switch very common, as is dodgy bulb holder, also check your bonnet cable isn't seized, again common issue.

Best option join the cool squad and fit bonnet pins :)

Cheers :D I have checked the bonnet cable as it was really stiff , sprayed loads of WD40 on each end. Its loosened things enough so it should all work properly...I am just not strong enough or heavy enough to give the bonnet a hard enough shove!!  .
As for my reverse light ,its a new led one but they've just stuck it in the hole and not connected it

Have a look underneath and see if any wires are just hanging loose. Thats what mine was, you might be able to just plug it back in.

Anyway I will take a torch tonight, you can shine it out of the window if you need to go backwards :D:D:D

Thanks Sue, checked for loose wires and nothing! The light itself just has 2 short wires stuck out the back of it ...anyway I have just shoved it back on haha! Still haven't closed my bonnet:confused:

Get a step ladder, lift it up and drop it from a decent height. Always works on mine :D

Haha...Have finally got it shut with the help of a friend!!! So I am no longer a probable.
I am joining you ..can't wait :D
