It's usually a winter theme thing because its dark so much earlier you don't have to be out too late on a school night :p

LOL, it was just an idea after reading some of the other threads, it looked like fun. Not sure it sounds like fun on a freezing winter night in a leaky Defender with a heater which just about keeps the inside above freezing .

Is it usually something just Disco owners do :D:D:p:p

Now come on Sue I know we haven't met so we haven't been able to talk sense to each other yet but I think you need a hat, a coat, a nice brew at 7pm and you'll have a fun time!

A number of people can't understand my desire for winter laning but it's the challenge that makes it so much more edgy!

We'll get something sorted anyway :)

It does look like fun :D Definitely need a better way of keeping warm in the Defender though, especially if I have got stuck and wet, the heater barely defrosts the windscreen

I've been trying to get loads of practice in so I wont be the one always getting stuck when the weather turns bad. Trouble is not many people seem to want to do summer laning :D

I for one am up for getting out and about very often but I have the ball and chain v8 so I can't afford to be out in the bugger all the time!

The plus side is it makes so much heat it's rarely cold inside!

Cant complain about the fuel consumption on mine, it doesn't use that much more than my car. Far better than my old Disco auto which I used to have for towing. Do miss the automatic when towing the horses though, made it a very smooth ride for them (and the heater :D)

Well i will be ok then i got a disco and a hob and a kettle lol
Will be out all year round me
The missis and i was out last night doing some local lanes near us it was fun not knowing what was round the corner in the dark even the kids loved it
So can not wait to do some better lanes at night with you lot

We are probably going to Holmfirth this week some time

You joining us, not too far from you :D

Off to buy the landy two new wiper blades in case it rains :D:D

Also fixing the reversing light as we might need to go backwards in the dark  Is not the bulb and I cant work out which pic on the fuse box stands for reversing light, stupid things. Well I did say I was bored. Just found two spotlights my brother gave me along with the trenching shovel/tool  wonder if you can fit those on the back. Would be much easier reversing if you could see properly

Lol I just wanna get out there. Thanks or the offer :)
If you pm me when and where ill gladly come along if possible (I am working 6 days next week at 3am starts lol)
