Ok. I realy need some help. I have a 1998 disco 1. I had to change the water pump and all lines with it. Removed the intake plenum and seled it along with some vac leaks. I replaced the thermostat also. When I started it after all that it ran great but a high idle at around 1700 rpm and started to overheat. Then after stoping to let cool off restarted it and now it runs at 3000 rpm and wont idle down. What could be the problem?

Are you sure you refilled it properly and got all the air out??
When you sealed it, are ya absolutely sure what ever you used had cured before start up? Cos I'm thinkiing it's sucked something into somewhere it shouldn't have
