Hi, I'm from Essex and looking at getting a 90/110 Tdi to use as a "daily" and to travel up Lancashire. I have. Mate who has owned a couple but I think it's best to gather and ask for as much info as possible.
Any way looks like a good forum for just that.

First bit of advice, if your mate knows his stuff , then take him along to view any landy you are looking at.

Hi welcome. Deffo take your mate and get underneath any you look at. Check for chassis repairs and holes. Check all bushes as well. Take a pry bar with you.

By the way it is worth checking the serial number on the gearbox to see if it's been swapped out and with which model. Some plum had put a D suffix on my 200tdi whicH soon turned to Swiss cheese and I think my 5th is still on the m5.
