Hi all i have gone and bought a 2004 range rover 4.4 v8 vogue. I have just returned home with it after a 200 mile drive and couldn't be happier. I know i am in for some dramas and repairs but i am prepared and still glad i bought it. I am in the Feltham middlesex area and if anyone can suggest a good honest repairer nearby other than a stealer i would be gratefull.

cheers

Hi DLM

Welcome to the forum. If it's an independent Land Rover specialist you're looking for then I use one at Harefield, which isn't that far from you.

New wheels is dec 2004 reg and have discovered just now that it may be a 2005 model. It has a touch screen sat nav, blue tooth and a harmon prologic 7 sound system and i am not sure but i think that makes it the 05 model ?? It also has venture cam with two cameras however i have no clue as to there purpose or how they are mounted. Maybe i can mount them to aid in parking lol.

Welcome, speak to a man called saintv8 in range rover section I think he knows that area well :)

Don't know it that well but I do work at LHR!

A good place that has been recommended to me was Sawyers on the A30 just past Ashford Hospital on the way to Staines (and I refuse to call is Staines upon Thames - fecking stupid idea).....

I try and do most of my repair and servicing work as these beast will empty a healthy bank balance rapidly if you can't DIY or diagnose your own faults......best get some form of diagnostic device for it!
