Hello hello,

i've spent years in the VW show car scene but have got frustrated with shiny cars that I was scared to use. After moving to the sticks I was offered a 72 series III by a builder working at my house. It turned out to be love at first sight. Totally original and in pretty good (but well used) condition. Mechanically it seems sounds (apart from speedo not working, which i'll tackle soon) and bodywork and chassis are sound apart from the drivers footwell having some holes.

Thought i'd come on here and say hi as I expect i'll need lots of advice in the future.

Yeah, she is nice, but I didn't like the look of the wheelbarrow stuck to the side in the 1st pic

It's an authentic 1972 wheelbarrow, original Landy spec. I'm thinking of painting it grey to match the truck

20 minutes with Photoshop and most Landys will look that good... go on, show us the underneath.

Cheers all. The photos are flattering. It's been garaged for ten years by the previous owner but after a month in the rain it's looking slightly less happy already.
If it stops raining this weekend i'll get some pics of the underside.
