Nothing wrong with getting engaged to a guy. Does the misses know?
I don't have a missus ... or a mister for that matter

On a positive note... it must have started for him to know it's got no brakes.
Not a big job. As you say replace broken line and I think most garages would flush the brake fluid at the same time. As a diy-er I would if it's been in a while or the colours not clean. Fluid dun't cost much and they're under it anyway. They should also inspect the rest of the braking system for damage. Again, quick to do. Wash oft any brake fluid that gets onto metal.Haha that is true
Anyway, just chatted to the mechanic who is holding it for collection. He has said it's one of the rear brake lines that's burst. So that's a job that will need doing.
That's not massive anyway is it??
new section of brake line and fluid top up. Or would you change out all the fluid while at it?
I'm going to be ordering from carbuilder.com soon for another project of mine and I will order the brake bits too. Is it all standard stuff?

Brings back memories of waiting for christmas when you were 4.Yea that's it.. when I finally get it, I'm going to stick it up on stands and give a good once over.
The suspense is killing me. Its just over a month (I think) since I sealed the deal and I've not yet laid eyes on..
