First time on this forum, and unsurprisingly I have a question.

My clutch biting point has qradually travelled downwards, and is now almost on the floor, making gear selection difficult (especially when hot).

This always used to indicate the clutch wasn't throwing out enough, maybe due to a hydraulic leak, but I've checked mine and can't see one.

Could it also be something mechanical internally?

I would have thought a worn-out clutch would make the biting point come up rather than go down........

It could be the pivot pin has or is wearing through your operating arm, but it would be helpful if you said wot the vehicle is! An how do by the way.
