Hi, I've just joined the site as I have a 1990 Defender, which needs constant TLC, so I shall probably spend a lot of time on here reading all your posts and posting quite a few myself.

My user name may have given away the fact I'm female, so when I post although I know my way around the car I won't be doing the work myself, I just want to know exactly what I'm talking about before I go to the garage and I definitely won't be posting any advice :D

But things will change :eek: Thats why I joined but they shame you into learning how to fix things yourself :D:D Just dont ask about tyres and you will be fine

Oh Goody, more girl power :) I've been left with a workshop full of tools as well as an old Defender, please don't let them make me do it :eek:. Why not ask about the tyres..........?
 
Welcome Jules, quite a few of us laydeez on ere now :)

Be prepared for the 'show us yer tits' comments that are bound to be coming your way. Don't be offended and give back as good as you get and you'll find this is a brill site :);)

Once you've tackled something once you will get bundles of confidence to do other stuff.

Nope I've got a big belly - now are they coming out;)
