Thought i may aswell join up on here before getting my first disco. I am currently in the process of selling my Cosworth due to not using it anymore, and looking to replace it with a 300 tdi, with the intention of using it to tow my caravan and occasional offroad use.

Well sold the cosworth fri night, (was gutted to see it go)

And just picked up my 98 plate td5, pics from the add

Chassis is fine , the last owner was obsessed, waxoil everywere lol...

He had just fitted a brand new head along with all the other bits associated with changing the head, new compresser and air bags and 4 new goodyears just fitted. fairly low mileage 100k with good history.

Only faults so far is the front sunroof motor and drivers heated seat, which i knew about so not to bad really...

Hello , the cossie was'nt a very quick one only around 290-300bhp, as ive had big bhp cars before and they just lose the enjoyment, that one was quick enough for the roads whilst not stressing the gearbox to much lol....
