hi, yes it should come down, i think after 50 mph (has to stay 50mph+ for longer than 30 seconds or so, before it will go into a squat mode.... you cant really tell its happened tbh but on the centre panel where you can adjust ur EAS the light with the road symbol starts to flash and stays on)

Does it move up/down from the switch while stationery with all the doors closed and engine running???

If the button next to the EAS up/down button with the 4 lights is illuminated, i.e. pressed in the suspension will not move automatically. Otherwise the EAS ECU may not be receiving the speed signal. To test this, manually drop the suspension to access height then drive off, at around 5mph it should start to rise or at least the normal height light should start to flash to indicate it is rising. If no movement, the EAS has no speed signal.

Had a play with it.
Lowers and raises when stationary.
When lowered and drive off, raises to normal height so speed detector must be working, however I didn't see it flash, it just appeared at normal level.
button on dooor works and lowers vehicle.

Are there any fuses in the system which could be linked and where are they?

The button to the right of the light display. It is the EAS lock button.

Yep this button seems to work ok as it will only illuminate in the lowered position at low speeds.
Anything else that would stop it from lowering at speed?

The lock button locks the EAS in whatever height it is at. Unless you exceed certain speeds. If you press it at any speed then select motorway height it will stay locked at that height until it is pressed again. Unless you are exceeding 35 mph, then it will only go to standard height below that speed.

Wammers that's the point, shouldn't it go to motorway height automatically? Can you select it down when going at speed as it just flashes for me.

Not sure about L322s, but on the P38, if the lock button is selected then the car can't change height automatically. It will change height if you manually instruct it to though.
If you've got an equivalent on yours, then maybe the lock is selected so it can't automatically change height (I think the access height to normal when you move off will override the lock but that's the only change that will).

Its a 55 plate 2006 FF
The button on the door can drop it down to entry height.
Just found this on Landrover net:
2006: Major model update (introduced summer 2005) -- base model gets Jag-derived 300 HP 4.4 litre V8 engine used in new Discovery 3/LR3. New supercharged model gets Jag-derived 4.2 litre supercharged engine (400HP) shared with new Range Rover Sport model (see below) also introduced in the summer of 2005. New tire pressure monitoring system, rear view camera, and re-tuned steering, braking and suspension, and optional swiveling headlamps. Several cosmetic updates including new front bumper, grille, power vents and tail lights. Adoption of road wheel specs from LR3 and Sport. Highway ride height mode setting eliminated.
Looks like that could be the yank model but can anyone confirm it won't drop down?
Everything else looks like it's ok, even when at off road height it will bring it down if I go too fast.

Hi Shinner and all,
Before I go mad searching for a solution, did your Motorway ride height issue get resolved?
I have now discovered that my late 2005 SC, which has an automatic motorway lowering not a driver selected one, has decided not to lower. All other functions are fully operational ie access and off road. All returning to correct level after driving off above 20 - 30 MPH. Even if I lock the access setting it will disengage and raise to normal ride height. I don't know how long this has been the case as we normally drive local roads.
On close examination of ride height screen, the OSF wheel is showing slightly higher in the wheel arch than the other wheels but this has always been the case as I have left it as a nice to fix rather than a priority job. It never stopped the motorway height lowering in the past.
I have also felt the ride has become stiff after getting away from rolling or lumpy surfaces as if pumped up too hard. Any thoughts on this and could the two be linked?
