Hi all, my name is Sam and I think I have found my favourite car. It's a Y plate td5 110 hardtop.

I have had many cars and got rid of many, get bored quickly and on to the next. The Defendyou has been the only car I actually enjoy driving! I think is just me, rough and ready, with no frills. :)

However; it hasnt all been smooth sailing. Take last Sunday for instance, driving out of Bourne End up a hill and the Gbox/Tbox started ringing like a bell! After draining the oil out of the Gbox I noticed plenty of metal swimming around the oil and on the plug magnet!! So out it came with the other bits and I'm now waithing until everyone is back from holiday so I can buy the 2 boxes of cogs. I bought the car off my boss so we have reached a deal and fixed it will be soon. I dont mind as I intend to keep it for a long while. I have many ideas for retro-fits which I'll be getting on with whilst waiting for parts.

I have been hanging around the forums sussing them out, and liked this one the best so looks like your stuck with me. Thanks in advance and all the best for 2013.:)
 
Gonna give you some advice. The whole "take it easy on me" thing just gets the LandySharks circling. We abhore softies here at the Zone.

So, go back and tell us to **** off and you'll be on much better footing.:welcome2:

wow a newbie who reads the how to and introduces them selves before diving in with a stupid question, may not be a first but its close.
