Hi guys!

My first post here and I'm hoping you could advise me.
Ive never owned a Land Rover at all, but have always wanted to.
Im looking for something to commute to work, yet be good fun off-road.
Something that the family and dog would feel comfortable in, but not too school-mum (Freelander-sorry, but I cant stand them)
Diesel
Nice torque for the off-road.
I prefer the older, traditional designs to the new 'luxury' look...but Im flexible.

All help and advice is appreciated.

How far is your commute?
How much do you want to spend?
How fast do you want to go?
Is this going to be a toy or you primary transport?

Preferably nothing. I'm hoping I can get a straight part-ex with my V6 Vectra Estate worth £2,600 (Glasses Guide)

Im not too bothered really. As long as I dont have to get out and push when going uphill, and it can take on mud and crud off road Im happy

£2600... get an early 200tdi 110 its reliable, big enough for the family and will eat up anything that stands in its way as its a coiler

That 90 has had the front o/s wing and door painted, ask the seller if it has been in a bump or had an insurance claim against it. Consider a Disco in your search aswell.
