Hi all,

I'm a newbie to this forum despite owning several LR's / RR's in the past.

I'm currently fitting a 3" lift kit (including castor correction) to my latest classic and was wondering about tyre size selection.

I've been looking at tyre / wheel packages and have come across diameters up to 37"!

Could anybody give me a max workable diameter with a 3" lift?

Thanks in advance,

Mick.

Hey thanks for making me feel welcome!

I did do a search before posting but couldn't find anything relevant, cheers my friend, will recomend this forum to all other newbies!

thats all right, Mick.
I was very polite - you havent come across many of the other inmates yet, i will be bound :bolt:.

depends how many mods your willing to do really, if your not into cutting away your arches and stuff then i would say 235/85/16, i have gone from a 2 inch lift on my rrc to a 3 inch and the difference is minimal.

FFS wind ya neck in. :D That's got to be the politest welcome I've seen in ages.

If you think Daft's post wasn't very welcoming, I'd pack ya bags and move on. Cos yu int gonna survive on this forum. Did you read any of the posts on here before yu decided to join?? Or did yu just assume everyone would bend over backwards to make yu feel welcome??

Fooking rangey drivers talk about higly strung!!:praise:

If ya not all highly strung I can soon fooking arrange it.

How high would ya like to be strung?? :boxing: :mooning: :hysterically_laughi :hijacked:

:blabla:

LOL,

Cheers gents, only a wind up, after reading previous posts I got the kind of welcome I expected!

Seriously though, if I wanted to fit 37" diameter tyres (or anything approaching that) to a classic is it just a case of a suspension lift (and all that entails) and getting the grinder out or am I looking at a body lift or such?

Cheers in advance of all the **** taking,

Mick.
