Hi, I am looking to buy my first landrover, either a series 3 or an old defender, depending on the budget . Main use of it will be everyday driving going from one place to another etc.. From time to time some mild off-roading and about twice to four times a year I will be towing a 16ft, 1650lbs. boat. What would be the ideal engine to look for? Thanks for any help and excuse me if I am in the wrong thread but I am kinda new to this forum
