Just joined the site after a year of using it for info prior to buying a defender.
Well today I finally got myself a new toy, had initially been looking at 90's due to budget, however really wanted a 110 SW. Luckily I stumbles across one close to me and today I viewed it and brought it home.
Its a 96 300tdi 110 defender in Oslo blue (I think), drove it home 30 miles to Glasgow with no real issues other than temp gauge being above the red, but checking the folder of receipts looks as though the wrong sender has been fitted!!
Its had loads of stuff done to it over its life, but chassis and engine seem great. Body is a little rough round the edges so that may be my first thing to tidy up.
Anyway thought I'd say hi before I start asking loads of questions.
