We have just bought a 1996 Defender 90, 300Tdi :):)
My OH did have a 110 up until 2000 as his work vehicle but we weren't in the position to use it properly as we lived in London at the time. Now we have a smallholding in rural west cornwall - ie Landy country!
OH is pretty handy in the maintenance aspect and I'm pretty good at being an oily rag - but we are by no means more than enthusiastic novices - prepare for lots of questions if that's ok ;) We tend to do lots of internet searches for troubleshooting and OH is having fun looking at YouTube vids of Landy refurbs etc!
We look forward to meeting fellow Landy enthusiasts on this forum :)

Thank you for the Welcome fellow pasty munchers and cider swillers :D
Apologies for the tardy response and acknowledgements but we have been a bit busy with Landy:
Searching for, and finally locating - Yay - the reason for the intermittent power loss (fuel solenoid dodgy connector)
Taking out the middle seat and putting in a cubby box
Installing a radio
Putting lots of gaffa tape on the seats...!
Sourcing some new tyres for the front wheels
Removing the side steps and relocating one onto the back cross member
Fixing the rear windscreen washer

And finally - but most importantly - exploring some of the narrow lanes in this 'ere parts :)

Except that is now on the back burner cos the dim/dip relay and b*gg*red so no lights to speak of and also the front propshaft died catastrophically on Sat so having to do some replacement works PDQ

Ah the joys of Landy ownership!
