hi, alex here, own a disco 300tdi, 95.
was desperate enough to look for help online with disco problems. In my excitement at finding lz:eek: dived right in with problems without so much as a hello. sorry for the lack of manners.
owned disco for 4 years now. great fun and been effortlesly,(sort of!) taking me up to glasgow and down to torquay regularly as well as to tesco and round the local country side no bother. aspire to a 110 when pennies allow. but for now disco davina takes me the husky and the tools where ever we want to go. with a smile!!:D,

Looks like I've blotted my copybook already, and I only joined yesterday. Thanks to one of the established members for pointing out I haven't introduced myself yet. Hello everyone. My only excuse is age and have not been on one of these forums before. So I hope you'll excuse an old bloke (retired last month) who has always owned Landrovers, and worked on them throughout his army career, and has an ex-Army Defender and a Civvi Defender 300 Tdi. It was the 300 Tdi that led me to look at your forum so often I thought I might try joining it. Glad I did, and would appreciate any suggestions to the problem I posted yesterday. Looking forward to learning much more.
regards
HG

Hi HG usually good manners to open a thread introducing yourself and not introduce yourself in some one else's. But :welcome2:
