Hi all,

Wow, what a great forum! I've got so much great knowledge from here it made buying a decent car a sinch so thanks to everyone who has contributed!

So what did I get? I got a real beauty of a P38A! I'm pleased as punch: she's already been converted to springs so I have no EAS worries (seen a lot of posts on this) and together with the lift kit she's running on 22" 3 spoke alloys. Blingtastic! Originally she was a Vogue with all the toys but the previous owner slipped a 300 tdi engine in when the head gaskets went, so another bullet dodged there before she slipped a liner or two. I'll post some photos once I've finished the bodykit and the headlight conversion to match the newer models.

It's like a wind up, Wammers is probably choking on his coffee right now about the wheels and lights, and everybody else is thinkin....."BODY KIT".....:eek:

(Yeah, I think I stood up for springs, but I don't look at P38s, at all )

and a 300tdi in a P38 is a first for me....wanna see some pics of that...
 
Nowt wrong with the EAS, just needs looking after. Springs and a 2" lift should make for good rollovers. What you have actually bought is a dog. Just seen a P38 with a Mitsibushi engine in place of the 4.6:rolleyes:
