Hi there, looking at a 1999 P38 tomorrow, looks great. However heard so many stories about cylinder head gasket issues, advice please. I have heard about using a tester in the expansion tank ( think I can borrow 1 from a local garage). Any advise on areas to check would be great fully accepted.

make sure you have very very deep pockets you will need them

The question is, to prevent me getting stuck what should I be looking for. Any help please

It's a long shot I know BUT!!! have you comsidered visiting the Rangerover section of this forum, and having a look at the threads or even (God forbid) doing a search???
