Hi, im interested in getting a new winch for my 90.
I do a lot of off roading and go to lots of sites where there is a large proportion of mud and water, it is very important that the winch has good waterproofing and solenoids in a sealed box.
I know its a lot to ask but does anyone have any suggestions:confused:
Thanks in advance

superwinch epi9000 £440 on rebel 4x4. If you don't wanna spent that much I bought a 12,000lb winch with sealed bridged solonoids off fleabay for about £250 inc p&p.

this is the one I bought.

I have only suberged it fully twice but it is still ok. I have had it dirty but not plastered to the point of being unrecognisable. It does have a years warantee though. I used it to pull out one of my works 7.5ton trucks that had got bogged down to its axles the other day and it didn't bat an eyelid. I use superwinches at work day in and day out but couldn't justify the extra wonga for somthing that I am only gonna use occasionally. Having the extra 3000lb pull rating I would rate it as an equal on performance. Reliability and lifespan are still untested.

Was looking at a winch too, a nice 12000lbs one on ebay.
Looked at the warranty details and it says no warranty if used off road!!!
Have checked with the seller as it seems like a good offer.

a muudy greenlane is still not offroad in the eyes of the law. If it is merely an unsurfaced road.
