On the subject of new wheels, could any of you recomend please somewhere that is very good/reasonable for tyres...

i want some bfg mud terrains with the rims really. I am in bedford, so either somewhere fairly local or somebody who will deliver.

Many Thanks.

I would have thought a popular combo like BFG Muds on modular rims might be reasonably priced but so far it seems that 5-600 quid is the cheapest a set of four can be had new :( be interested to see if there's anywhere significantly cheaper.

Try Paddocks - my 5 Insa Turbo Ranger tyres and wheels came to £480. I was considering BFG A/T but they were double the price of the Rangers which have the same tread pattern as BFGs.

I think theres still room in there to get the other 3 in...... Darren could push the car home.
