Right sense at last, so your looking for either an AT or possibly a Mud tyre.
Much motorway driving or generally local.
modular or alloys

I like BFG's as well

to be honest i dont really drive the defender apart from when out with the dogs at the weekend, but when do i am probaly on the motorway and do some town driving as much as off road

So what your saying is nothing more challenging than a muddy track or field? sounds like AT unless you want to get down and dirty-then its muds but road driving suffers

how bad are the mud terrain on the road and how good are AT off road

they wheels and tyres are beasts, what they costing and do they fit a 90 and 110 because am looking to get the 90 soon

General Grabber At2's are just as guid as they BFG's... and a wee bit cheaper;)
If ye do a search fur thum on here ye'll see what other folk say anaw;)

just an example of the tyre, not mine just random of net.
Unless you want serious off road capabilities- the bfg or similar AT will do you proud.
Next question how much is your budget, do you want boost alloys or alloys or steel modular?

i havent really got a budget and i wasnt really bothered about fanncy alloys i was more wanting decent tyres to pull me through things , Do the alloys make a difference to what the truck can do ?

modulars from paddocks.co.uk will sort you out. i have some weller 8 spokes for sale if your interested. but i'm in devon!

fooking hell.Sonds like you wanna replace the tres with the michelins they come with.DOnt bother with at and defo dont get mt unless ya live in a boggy field.Mostly motor way driving needs a motorway tire.Everyone on here goes offroad reasonably regular.Sounds like you wont.Get the michelin, good tire, good wear, good mpg, little road noise, does the job if yer go off road, handles the wet, snow dry etc.
