MOT failed - bushes gone on front shocks and watts linkage and rear drop link arms where like a pair of charred chicken drum sticks.

Thanks to JGS 4x4 (rapid delivery) and phoenix 4x4 (eBay) I now have a “silent and smooth” drive again.

Things I used.

For the front shock bushesAlthough a hydraulic press is what people seem to use on YouTube I found a bench mounted vice wat more controllable and way way less terrifying…

Watts linkage / a lot of wd40 about 20 mins before and a long wrench. I end up using a cut off bit of scaffold for leverage.

Drop link arms. Cut them off if they’re really bad, just be careful. Again loads of wd40 about 20 mins before.

All in took me about 3 hours and I am a complete novice however I do have access to a military hanger that has every imaginable tool and machine for fixing vehicles.
