You don't have to change both, and there are many, many places where you can get cheap tyres. In fact there are almost as many places to get tyres as there are post and threads on this very subject.

It all depends on the condition of the aforementioned tyres and whether you have got them wet or not, should you have been foolish enough to get them wet, then of greater concern to your good self will be the imminent separation of your doors from your motor:eek::eek::eek:

Thankyou, please come again:D:D:D

i should be more worried about the imminent seperation of the owners arsus cheekus... gaylanders attract a certain amount of interest...

I tend to have road tyres on the drivers side and mud terrains on the passenger side. This is then a huge advantage when driving with two wheels up the kerb in the grass when undertaking!

should have posted in the freelander section, but for what it's worth, if you searched, you would then know the following:

1) preferable to replace all 4 at the same time
2) worst case replace 2 on the same axle
3) ALWAYS fit the new ones on the back

This will go a long way to avoiding any of the VCU/ IRD issues that can be caused by fitting new tyres to the front only.

If you need more information, please search, there is loads and loads, what I have put above are the facts based on what has been written many many times. The info is all here.
