Good Morning,
I bought a 1995 Land Rover Defender 110 5 door County station wagon 300 tdi back in September and have just purchased a roof top tent from 4x4 direct.... We are looking to do a few camping trips this summer and wondered if other owners leave the Roof Top Tent on for the season or have any tips on getting it on and off into the garage each time..
Have also just purchased some insulating material for the interior and will prob get some stable mat for the floor this month. This is a great site and I love reading all about other peoples trials and tribulations and get inspired !

Hello, welcome to Landyzone!
I see a lot of people leave the roof tents on all year round,
I don't know as I don't have one but I should imagine as long as its cover is water and weather proof and you air it out occasionally it should be fine

Welcome to LZ, mate! :)

I'm glad you asked. As you have a 110 why don't you sleep inside it? Puzzled.
Ha...we did think of that but the RTT seemed an easier way to get the whole family out camping. We plan to tart up the rear seating area with a breakfast table/its raining lets sit in and play scrabble table....plus put a drop down shelf on the back door to mount the camping stove on...seemed wide to sleep on the roof and live the days out of the back
