gday all;
new to this community, but, not to landy's. i have owened and loved landys for 30 years. my daliy drive is alertnated between the 1958 series 2 and the 1993 defender. my first landy was a 1955 series 1, which i had for many years.i have owned many series 2a's and series 3's. one which was a ex-military with a 2.6 in it. i have been on the dark side once and that was for 2 weeks as the toymoter just would'nt go where i was used to going in the landys, so out the door it went and have landys ever since. the defender is the first coiler that i have owned and i love it, could use more elbow room but i have since gotten used to it, dosent bother me at all now. it has taken me 1.5 years to get the defer registered and going after all the problems that it had. as it sat in a paddock for 2 years. the transfer case was cactus,( did'nt have the output gear crossed drilled ) i replaced that said unit with a fully rebuilt one from a td5, and it is better that expected. i am getting ready to do the viscous nuit and timeing belt change as i don't know when it was done last. although it only has 130ks on the clock it is ready for the belt change anyway. after i do this i will be doing all the susspension bushs and shockies. any advice on the best products would be highly thankfull. well this is abit long winded but i love talking landrovers. thanks for listening and happy landying,,, cheers wally
