hi
owned a few defenders over the years but just bought my first swb series 11A. Ebay bargain of the century
1967 swb for sixteen whole english pounds, yes thats right one six pounds
No Tax, Test or very much in the way of working landy but its here, sat on the drive with the rest of the collection
But what to do with it
The petrol engine works, well sort of, seems strange putting petrol in a vehicle but hey ho takes all sorts
Got a mate coming round on Thursday night to weld the broken gearstick back together but playing tonight and noticed the clutch pedal sticking down , lots of fluid, we'll give it a knock about thursday when we can actually select which way to go
if anyones got any advice, ideas, or owt else drop me a line, also if i do keep the old girl i'd like to change to a soft top, appreciate anyone letting me know what i need n where the bargains are to be had
