Hi all,
As title and section of this thread suggests, I'm new to LR Zone!
I am a recent and very proud owner of a 1987 Defender 90 which was lovingly stripped, patched and re-sprayed by the friends of mine I purchased her from - she is affectionately named Doris (long story...)
Whilst I hope that being a member here on LRZ will be a never-ending source of helpful advice, friendly banter and no doubt scourn from time to time, I do have one topic to get kicked off with (introduction aside...).
Doris is soon to have a heart transplant from the 2.5TD she was born with to the 300tdi, amoungst some other transplants to make her a little more useable for the longer journeys to and from the shoots.
Thanks to you all for the useful info I've already found on the forums here - more to follow on the transplant...
