Hi all
just to say hello and will be viewing the vast pages within the site.

I iam looking at buying a Land rover soon 110 or series 3, trying to find out what peps views are on LPG V8 or diesel, what with the rising prices of fuel.

What would you go for and why?

Thanks

Welcome ter LaryZone.

Personally a big V8 fan, but unless you're gittin an injected 'un there's little point in LPG. It isn't great with carbs. If you want a good all round 110 go for a 200 or 300Tdi Defender if you can run to it, excellent doosul injuns. ;)

hi warren

also new to the landy zone.

i have a 1998 disco 1 with 3.9 V8.
getting 15 to 17mpg on lpg with bags of power - cant notice drop in power when switching over from unleaded

round cheshire i pay between 46 to 52 pence per litre for lpg

the V8 is just great and sounds awesome!

wot more could you ask for?

Freelander Td4, good on fuel, excellent roadholding & can keep up with modern traffic especially withe roverrons gizmo.

welcome..... I quiet like the idea of a 110 V8 on gas. I've got the Disco which I luv, but as it's the family transport I can't afford to break it. Sooo, I'm on the look out for Landy to call my own and a 110 is in the frame! :)
