Hi guys and Gals,
Ftrying to get my rear wiper on a Disco M reg (94) to work.
Originally the wiring from the switch had been cut and the supply used to feed a CB radio!.
I managed to sort this and have reconnected the wiring to the switch and reconnected the switch.
I still had rear washers but no wipe. I took the wiper out of the back door and ran it direct from the battery, and that seemed to work OK.
Then 'discovererd the MFU, what a rigmarole this is I thought.
Anyway followed the RAVe instructions and got some of the correct feedback.
Mode 1
No heated front widow so no switch.
Rear washers fo not create a bleep, but work. Same with rear fogs.
Front wash and wipe OK as well as lights etc.
Mode 2,
Lights appear to work , front wash and wipe work, but rear wiper does not.
Can anyone tell me EXACTLY where the rear wiper relay is! I can hear the front one click in, but nothing when the rear is supposed to switch.
Also any common faults with the wiper assembely, that can be relatively easily remedied.
Also is the rear wiper not working an MOT failure.
TH take care out there
