New springs n shox came today from paddocks but the front drivers side spring is about 3" longer than the passenger side... is this the norm.? They are standard duty britpart.

I fitted a 2" lift kit to a mates rangie and there was no real difference between the height of the springs. Give Paddocks a ring, the people there are always very helpfull and really quite knowlegeable (mind you, that could be a subjective thing, so to me a talking packet of corn flakes would be a positive genius).

Theres a recent fred on springs have a look for it can't remember where or wether it came to a conclusion.

Just had a look at the other thread on springs (leaning landy) ... its not my front drivers spr' thats longer its the rear drivers side.. a pair of rear 90 std springs have the same part number as a pair of front 110 hd n 130 springs nrc9448,nrc9449 and its the 9448 thats a fair bit longer. i will put a pic on later. FFS!

Nowt to worry about,it is the correct spring and its just under 2" longer and i think it is to compensate for the right rear end pulling down when setting off, summat to do with the tourqe me thinks. Probably why landys lean ...Not giving em any welly wont bed the spring in!
