It is a fantastic vehicle and build quality is the best ive seen on a lr product and as you have said it just a little niggle bear with it and keep up to dte with the dealer.

Unfortunately we are at the mercy of the manufacturer and development people on a fix once it is fully investigated tested and confirmed I can see it being rolled out very quickly to restore customers faith.
The finish on the L322's I've seen is pretty poor, are the newer ones really any different? I wouldn't expect much to change until the new model arrived. I've seen the L405 but not up close so I don't know what the finish is like. I declined the offer of a test, too far to drive to the dealer. I wouldn't buy one even if I won the lottery, too many electronic gizmo's that I don't need or want although they do do one without a sunroof.

Late l322 interior are far superior to the early and mid l322 and the l405 is well how to say a completely different standard as the op can tell you.

The range of materials, colours and design options and spec built is amazing yes they have lots of electronic gimzos but they are alot better build and components are far superior to what they used to be. Its very rare at the minute to be replacing modules on the later vehicles it seems to be wiring or connection problems but only time will tell.

If you ever get the change to go and view or test drive do it I will find it very hard to believe if you dont enjoy it once you find out how to operated all the gizmos

I'm perfectly capable of operating the gizmos, l just do not have either use nor need of them. I can park without sensors, I can even manage to descend a hill unaided, I can still move a seat without motors, SatNav does nothing I can't do better with a map and so on.

Yes datatek I understand where you are coming from but the more wealthy you are the more gizmo they seem to like, take this one blind spot monitoring is done by radar in the rear bumper which then warns the driver there is object in the blindspot by activating a light in door mirror, or even better deployable side steps an expensive add on in excess of 2.5k for side steps.

LR are not known for quality materials or build. The more complex they make their vehicles the more problems created for the likes of us who arn't rich / daft enough to buy them new under warranty.
The interior quality of the L322 took a step back from the P38 & so what else was downgraded? Only time will tell when L322's get to the same age as most P38's running on here.....but i digress.

Fine until it gets covered in **** and gives false warnings, or worse no warning when the driver has learnt to rely on it.
The human race is being progressively de-skilled which is fine until things go wrong.
