after always wanting a late defender i finally bought one!! After a few early ones and i current 300tdi i went for a 10.000 mile on a 53 plate!

What does everyone else think of the puma? Fair play nice and comfy but dreading the dealer service costs! Always done my own on previous but stuck now due to warranty.

If anyone has any questions fire away as ill give you differences between old and new.

Already had randon alarms and ****e dealer service and its taking some getting used to but well see.

Still cant get rid of the 300 though its like an old faithful dog

Hope you have good security alarm system on it, they go walkies otherwise :(

Mate its soooooo sad that you have to do this these days!!!! I have diskloc and pedal lock on the 300 but puma is borrowing diskloc till payday

Already paranoid about doors and bonnet to the point where ive already installed security bonnet hinges, internal hinge guards on front door and big lock through bonnet and engine lift eye.

It really makes me sick worrying about it. Had alarm go off randomly in the wind the other night and i was a mess!

Knocks the shine off owning them sometimes.

Nice one. I'd love a late one for pottering and local stuff .. but I'd still keep my current one for playtimes .. :)

Guessing you mean a 63 plate..I wouldn't worry too much about service costs, it is a transit engine after all :)

Controversial opinion but I much prefer them to the TD5
