Just got my new wide angle prop:), the grease nipples have little plastic caps over them. One doesn't foul at any angle and the other end just touches when the UJ is fully twisted, do you guys reckon it's ok to leave them on or might they bugger the nipple when fully twisting with the props turning?
Cheers, Harry

Leave it on if its not a prob :) , at least you wont inject a bit of dirt in the Ujs next time ya greese em + easyer to find the nipple too . ( smutty comments welcome :) lol )

diff lock sell them caps individually. they are a good idea for all (grease) nipples and come in a number of colours.

Ok well i took them off as one seemed to rub but i will stick them back on and see how they fare. worst comes to the worst they pop off i guess.

I finally got around to getting under the Ninety yesterday and greasing up the propshafts and UJs. However, one of the UJs does not have grease nipple on it. Am I right in assuming they were all like that originally, and that 3 out of the 4 have been replaced at some point in time?

Ian.

some are sealed units, some are greasable and comes down to personal preference. if your landy has done over 10 miles they will all have been replaced a one time or another!!
