Hi
Name is Simon, living in the North Cotswolds and just bought a great P38. Have had a classic for about 10 years and have loved it but this car was such a bargain I had to change. Am in the process of doing some of the niggly bits that you are probably all aware of( drivers window, air con display etc) and love the process of learning. Just done the EAS pump seals-all successfully(or as I thought) but during use and after initially running sweetly the pump then decides to vibrate badly after about 10 secs. Probably my fault so am going to dive in again this weekend, weather permitting, and see what the problem is-any ideas? I may change all the bags come the summer as its done 75K miles and probably service the block-Am a great believer in proactive rather than reactive tinkering! Anyway that's all as an intro and will probably be badgering for answers to various threads in the near future!
Cheers
Simon

Welcome:)

we all love the EAS when it’s working, but you will find some great help on here for it. Good luck.

Hi all and thanks for the welcome- not sure how to post pictures but will find out. Its a green P38 so no surprises.
Just checked airbags and they appear pretty new-result!
Piston loose sounds bang on so will check it out once the sun comes out!
Onto other things not really important but on the list. Help if poss please.
Rave.....know what it is but so many seem to have difficulties downloading it. Before I start(mine is a Mac) what's my best approach? I have a huge workshop manual so is Rave any better?
CC. Pipes are fine but not good with a multimeter so best options. No clicking heard so relay? indicator switch lights but no CC indication on info bar? or.... just forget it?!
Sunroof not working but manual operation is so probably the motor. Is that a fair assumption?
Little bulb for ignition barrel. What is the part no?
Drivers seat squab. Available?
Lastly what engine oil to use? I know it was changed before I bought it but need to know for next change.
I am sure the list never stops but for the moment am loving the car.
Cheers

Green is good:) (mine is too)

you would do better to split your problems up and post here https://www.landyzone.co.uk/forum/range-rover.10/ using the P38 subsection please give all vehicle info in each post.
you have a few issues but they can all be sorted:).Also worth trying search function may show your problem and have the answer.

I have rave on the I pad can’t remember now where I got it but it’s worth having, if the 1 you have is large, it maybe apart of rave. Plenty of links around 1 will work.

Make a thread in RR section.

State model/year/engine/ manual or auto transmission. There will be plenty of help.

Searchbar is up top right of page - invaluable information on everything.

Upload photo from your library with ‘upload a file’ bottom of reply bar

Welcome to the looney zone, and yes your right proactive is better than reactive. If looked after these machines are great. I love mine.
You will also find a great deal of help on here but also be prepared for a bit of stick as we area a humorous bunch.
