The remote just won't unlock/lock the car or disable the alarm yes I tried every thing in the owners book even a special book at a local garage to no avail. Am I missing something or is my suspicion that this remote mite be an eBay special from a different car ??????

Scratch that I just rememberd the key blade on the spare remote didn't fit the locks/ignition the same garage who lent me their special book had a car locks smith come look at it he cut a new blade then spent 2 hours trying to resynce the fob. That's why i decided it was an eBay special from a different car so it seems it can never be synced to a different becm/car
