Fecking hell your a hard lot on here:D

Anyway i picked my freelander up on monday night, and yesterday i drove it in the rain, i know im supposed to keep the doors dry, but i was trying to get some points back:p :D ive got to say im very disapointed as i expected the compartment in the boot to fill up with water, which would be very useful to use as a dogs water bowl:D but it didnt.

:D :D :D I really feel like im missing out on something now, i keep waiting for a warning light to come on to give me something to think about, but alas, i seem to have a duff model:p :D maybe i should ask for my money back:D :D :D

You're not alone! I've had mine for 1 and a half tanks of diesel and she's been awesome. No leaks either. :D

And the best bit is that she is saving me loads of wedge already - I had an old pajero that I ran on vege before this but its mpg was rubbish and the oil was a mission.

Can't wait for a decent english summer - I might be able to get the roof off. Maybe in a few years?

very true, however, in the case of the Hippoo, it is exacerbated by poor design and the horrendous cost if fixing the bloody things.

Well im soon going to be joining the ranks of the freelanders

Welcome fellow TD4 owner. May I say congratulations on an inspired & frankly brilliant choice of Landrover. Maybe best not to praise them too much or everyone will want to chop in their Pretenders for one, think what that would do to the secondhand values.
