Hi all.
New to your site. Looking to get myself a discovery 1 or 2 for off roading. Went on a day event now I'm hooked. Live in Scotland (Cumbernauld).
Sure I will be picking all your brains at some point.

Yeh. Looking forward to getting some mods done. Need to sell my van first. Wife has told me that I need to get rid of something. Got fiesta being upgraded to an st lookalike with my son as his first car.

What's it called...welcome! Have a look at Gem 4x4 up at Larbert. Also good for secondhand parts. A few Disco's in the yard.

Nice looking disco.
Where abouts would you recommend to get any work done on D2.
Also looking to upgrade for off road. (Bumpers, lift & tyre's) any suppliers you know of.

nah never needed it for any of my previous Land Rovers, its a myth


I would recommend you do your own repairs as much as you can. Different when it comes to big stuff, dropping gearboxes on the roadside etc.
Your mods and stuff, you can't beat the internet.
Tyres, I have always used Auchinlea Tyres at Newhouse Ind Estate as they can supply and fit anything you want.
However might be worth a visit to Jim Dickson in the Village.
