Hi to all members.

I'm new to the Landrover scene. I have done many thousands of miles in them but never owned one until last Wednesday, I then took ill and have not been behind the wheel until today.

I purchased a 2001 Freelander which had had one lady owner and 68,000 on the clock. My hobby is Metal Detecting and it will solve problems of mud encountered earlier this year at a rally.

I am retired and live in Essex but am originally from Co Durham.

I very much look forward to reading your posts.

Yeah I was going to ask if he was ex-RMP or maybe a para but that would be marooncap lol

Anyway, welcome les, this place can be a bit 'fruity' banter wise but lots of knowledgeable peeps on here so that makes it worth while.
